 The 'Fixed Assets' Gelding Program purchases [or takes on consignment] young geldings or weanling jacks that breeders from across the country typically have no purpose for retaining in areas where there are just too many little males born than breeders have the use for!  The expense and time it takes to market and sell these little guys exceeds their value for some of the larger breeders at times.

QUICK DONKEY FACT ....  99% of all male mini donkeys are gelded, or should be!  Only the top 1% are retained for breeding purposes. 

We have a rather strong market here in the northeast for these little guys as their popularity continues to increase.  So, whether you're a breeder looking for an outlet for your healthy little guys, or a buyer searching for just the perfect pair of pets for your farm family, Mike will find the 'fit' that works for all parties, particularly the donkeys.

Availability, readiness of the buyer's farm, and Mike's assessment of a good 'match' with buyer and donkey occurs before any of our donkeys are 'ready' to go.   He does reserve the right to refuse to sell these geldings, and each buyer is personally approved. The donkey well-being is the first factor considered for a sale.

Buyers are expected to sign a purchase agreement so communciations, commitments and understandings promote happy parties, all around. 

Buyers realize the donkeys are always welcome back on this farm with no questions asked, if life changes for you and you can no longer care properly for your donkey.

This is an intervention sort of little farm, offering an alternative to breeders who would otherwise take these guys to auctions or livestock sales, where the donkey futures are often scary, and always unknown.
